Sharing the joy of Diwali with tribal communities through sweets, food and heartfelt moments of togetherness, bringing smiles and festive cheer to the villagers of Dandwalgaon.

Celebrating Diwali, Lighting Lives

On October 26, 2014, as part of its Empowering Dandwalgaon campaign, Nanma Charitable Foundation visited Dandwalgaon in Mokhada Taluka, Palghar district, Maharashtra, to celebrate the festival of Diwali with the local tribal community.

The team distributed sweets and food among the children and villagers, spreading festive cheer and sharing the joy of the occasion. The initiative aimed to make the celebration more meaningful by bringing people together and creating moments of happiness and togetherness. The visit reflected the spirit of Diwali, sharing what we have, caring for others, and bringing light into the lives of those around us. The smiles and warmth shared during the celebration made the occasion a memorable part of the foundation's ongoing efforts to support the Dandwalgaon community.

With the next phase of the initiative planned for January, Nanma Charitable Foundation looked forward to continuing its journey towards empowering the village, with the continued love and support of its well-wishers.
