In April 2014, Nanma Charitable Foundation partnered with Ability Unlimited, a Delhi-based organisation, to celebrate the talent, determination, and creative spirit of physically challenged artists. The collaboration culminated in a grand stage show at Dombivli Gymkhana Grounds, providing a platform for these exceptional performers to showcase their abilities.
The artists, who had earned the title of Magic on Wheels from the Limca Book of Records, captivated the audience with their extraordinary performances. Performing Bharatnatyam and yoga on wheelchairs, they challenged conventional perceptions of disability and demonstrated that passion, dedication, and artistic expression know no boundaries. The cultural evening witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of more than 5,000 people. Among the distinguished dignitaries present were danseuse Sudha Chandran, Honourable PWD Minister Eknath Shinde, and Charms Group Chairman John Mathew. The performances left the audience amazed and inspired, making the event a memorable celebration of human potential and perseverance.
As a gesture of support and appreciation, Nanma Charitable Foundation presented an honorarium to Ability Unlimited to contribute towards its welfare activities and encourage the artists to participate in similar large-scale performances in the future. The event was a powerful reminder that physical challenges cannot diminish an individual's talent, ambition, or ability to inspire others.
