An Afternoon with the Visually Impaired

The silent joy in their eyes spoke of a different contentment we found hard to ignore or express.

An Afternoon with the Visually Impaired

Activity note

An afternoon with the visually impaired .

On April 29, 2013 Nanma Charitable Foundation organised its maiden activity and visited an institute for the visually impaired. We distributed free food to more than 80 visually impaired people at the Helen Keller Institute for the Visually Impaired at Panayur, Kerala. We were happy to know that most of the physically challenged citizens at the institute were being trained to be independent. The silent joy in their eyes spoke of a different contentment we found hard to ignore or express.
